The aim of the project is the construction of a multifunctional sports-training complex in the town of Malko Tarnovo, adjacent to the existing town stadium. The project includes construction of a multifunctional sports-training hall with a capacity of 350 seats and a training-rehabilitation center.

In terms of its functionally, the building comprises several basic units:

- A central lobbywith a main entrance on the southwest side of the building that provides access to the sports hall and the training- rehabilitation center.

- A sports hall unit with a playing field44x22m. and stands with a capacity of 350 seats.

- The training-rehabilitation center is developed on two floor levels and includes dressing rooms, coaches’ rooms, doctor's office, a warm-up room, a sauna and a steam room.

The architectural design solution has applied a concept of two main volume structures: ahigh-volumesection - the sports hall unit and a low-volume section - the lobby, the training-rehabilitation center and the entrance grandstand. Both volume sections combine the principle of contrast - the rigid and highly geometric body of the sports hall and the elongated and uneven silhouette of the lower section resembling bird's wings in a flight.

The project design ensures the smooth visual transition of the rigid geometric shapes of the new sports hall to the surrounding environment and the scenery of the town, and creates a specific accent and a feeling of symbol in the urban silhouette of the town of Malko Tarnovo.
